about me

I’ve always had a passion for art - drawing and painting have endured throughout my life as outlets for expressing and exploring my most authentic self.
The main focus of my drawing is people - using the human form to evoke feelings with dramatic black-and-white contrast. I am inspired by how much emotion can be felt through the human face and body, and I strive to create highly personal depictions of people in positions that you can almost feel yourself.
My work with acrylic paint is more centered around landscapes and abstract, modern patterns. I view my painting as whimsical - bringing in bright colors to create pieces with personality. These past few years I began working with colored pencils and markers as a way to challenge myself with a different medium. I found pure enjoyment in creating comic-cartoon depictions of various scenes and people in my life - it became a new side of my artwork, and one that helped me tap into a more diverse set of abilities.
I am constantly inspired, constantly growing, and constantly creating.
